About the project

Initially, the project involved the construction of 214 units of 2-storeyed medium cost residential houses. The built-up area of each unit is 809 sq. ft., consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 restrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and a dining area. Construction began in July 1994 and was due for completion in December 1995. However, an additional 18 units and a new external sewerage reticulation (approximately 0.75km) were subsequently added to the scheme, thus revising the new completion date to February 1997. Despite the 1997 economical crisis causing a major shortage of cement related products, Jehan Development was able to complete and hand over the project to the developer, PKNS according to schedule.
